There are two essential resources in this update … one for used and rare book dealers and one for those who want to sell used audio equipment on ebay (both very hot items).

RESOURCE #1:

This is a great resource for used and rare dealers (part-time and full-time).

From Quill and Bush: Author Price Guides!

Each guide includes a facsimile of the author’s signature; a brief biographical sketch; an up-to-date list of the author’s first editions (American and British) with entries for limited and trade editions; number of copies printed (if available); how to identify the first edition; and estimated values.

A great resource, especially if you’re dealing in a single genre or specializing in the higher end of the market,

There is a lot of money selling used and rare books online… I enjoy time spent at estate sales, but I enjoy it a lot more when I can walk away with $1,000 in rare books for less than $5 bucks out-of -pocket. It happens almost every time I attend… and this is the season when they really start to roll out the sales!

Knowledge is the key…

There aren’t a lot of manuals or other instructional material on how to make your living selling used and rare books… I think mine is the only one,

RESOURCE #2:

There is a very strong market on ebaY for used equipment used by musician’s and performing artists.

I’m talking about mixers, amps, and other equipment used by musicians.

This is the worlds largest online listing of used musical instrument prices, updated every day.

There are over 4,000 products in the database.

Check the current street prices for used brand names like Emu, Korg, Roland, Yamaha, and many others… for free!

These items sell for hundreds of dollars on ebay and have good profit potential if you can buy them cheap locally…
