Everyone knows (I hope) that you can make money online by referring people to websites through Affiliate programs… and you get paid a commission if the person you refer to the website buys the product.
But did you know you could make thousands by connecting suppliers with potential buyers *offline* too?
Referral fees are a common practice in offline businesses, but they haven’t been used much in online networking sites because there was no way to track them.
There’s a company now that ‘matches’ referrals when you make those *offline connections* …
Vendors in the system set the referral fees they’re willing to pay, then when a deal happens, you get 70% of the referral fee (the ‘matching’ company gets 30%), which could be a lot of money depending on the size of the deal.
Let me give you an example how this might work.
Let’s say you’re a real estate professional. You have a client that just purchased an office building and is moving his company there. He mentions that he needs about $50,000 worth of copiers for his new offices.
You tell him you may have just the company that could help him and ask him if it’s ok for them to give him a call to work out the details.
If you’re a member of this ‘mathcing’ site, you enter this info into a web database. Then you’re presented with a list of trusted copier companies, their ratings and the finder’s fee they are willing to pay.
Each Vendor registered in the system is rated. The rating allows Members to choose the best Vendors for their customers.
It also means that Vendors are rewarded for delivering outstanding products and services.
The selected Vendors receive an e-mail advising them they’ve been chosen and instructs them to log into the matching service to see the details of the opportunity.
When a selected Vendor sees the lead, contacts the customer and wins the business, they pay the ‘matching’ service their 10% finder’s fee. (In this case, $5,000.)
This ‘matching’ service then passes $3,500 of the winning Vendor’s finder’s fee to the Member who entered the winning lead - that could be YOU!
If you work in a field were you have a lot of contacts and know the needs and wants of your clients, you could pick up some lucrative finders’ fees. But I don’t see why you couldn’t also start a sideline business as a ‘finder’ using this matching service as well ![]()
