This is a blog post… but I think that this is important for you to know about. When (or if) you signed up for my email newsletter you may have seen the warning “The address you are trying to use cannot be accepted. Please use another email address” - or words to that effect.

The reason? Comcast.net They are horrible at allowing their users to receive legitimate emails. I used to accept Comcast.net email addresses but I was getting lots of people emailing me just after they signed up saying they never received the confirmation email… and I realized they ALL had a comcast.net email addy’s so I just configured my email system to no longer accept email addy’s from anyone using comcast.net email addresses. It was a service nightmare…

The above post tells you why I am not the only one frustrated with comcast. My suggestion is to use gmail.com… it’s free and I have found it incredibly reliable. Whenever I have something really important to get to someone I use my gmail address.
